Travel Grants will be awarded to 12 early career researchers who are working and living in countries with low-income or middle-income economies. The Travel Grant will cover the early bird registration fee of €560,- and a contribution of up to €1200,- towards travel and accommodation. The Travel Grant application deadline is 30 April 2025.

Eligibility criteria

Applicants must:

• Submit an abstract as first author.
• Be a registered PhD student or postdoctoral researcher within 5 years of having received a PhD.
• Be a PhD student or postdoctoral researcher at an institution of higher learning in a LMIC and being a resident of a LIMC.

Applications must be made through the abstract registration system before the Travel Grant deadline of 30 April 2025. Please select the following steps:

• Upload the following documents as a single pdf file, presented in the following order:
  • Your abstract as first author, according to the guidelines on the Call for Abstracts page
  • Proof of Status: PhD student or postdoctoral researcher within 5 years of receiving a PhD
